SCHOOL GROUPS

Whistling Thorns is an ideal destination for school groups: we are less than 1 hr from Nairobi on a good tarmac road. Our facilities include swimming pool, pony and horse rides, open fields for ball games and a campsite.

Daytrips : We do a children's menu (pizza, ice-cream and a soda) for children up to and including 9 years of age, the charges are 300/= and for children from 10-14, the charges are 350/=p.p. This includes the use of swimming pool so bring your bathers.

Overnight : Camping is 400/= p.p. per night, if you bringy our own equipment. If you need to hire our tents, we charge 550/= per child per night, and they have to bring bedding (sleeping bag & pillow) as we provide a mattress. If you require breakfast (cereals, hot chocolate, egg and sausage & toast) the cost is 300/= per child.

Activities : Bouncing castles is 50/= per child (under 9 only). pony rides are 200/= per child (or 1200/= per horse per hour). There is a tree house and climbing frame & swings on the campsite. Space for ball games and volleyball.
